TERMS OF BOOKING/PAYMENT FOR TRAVEL AGENCIES
IN THE PERIOD 26 DEC 2011 – 12 JAN 2012
Lomarengas applies the following terms and conditions to the booking and payment of holiday cottages and apartments when the reservation is made by a travel agency/holiday organiser. These terms and conditions apply to the period 26 December 2011 – 12 January 2012.
BOOKING PERIODS
The shortest possible reservation is one week and the check-in/out day is depending on the cottage/apartment. Reservation for several consecutive weeks will be confirmed for one week at a time.
FINAL CLEANING AND BED LINEN
An obligatory increased cleaning fee (€250 at maximum) will be added to the rent in the case of all bookings unless if it must be paid on the spot or if cleaning services are not available.
An obligatory fee for bed linen will be added to the rent unless the bed linen is included in the price or if this service is not available or has to be paid on the spot.
If the number of guests and their names are known at the time of booking, the number of issued bed linen packages will equal the number of guests.
The travel agency is required to notify if more guests will actually be coming than was announced at the time of booking, after which Lomarengas/FinFun will invoice the additional bed linen.
If the number of guests is not known at the time of booking, the number of issued bed linen packages will equal the number of beds as determined by the cottage/apartment description. If the actual number of guests is less than the number of reserved bed linen packages, the difference will not be refunded.
The number of guests may not exceed the number of beds determined in the cottage/apartment description (e.g. 4+2 = maximum number of guests 6. Note: In this case, the cottage/apartment may not be suitable for six adults because some of the beds may be smaller than normal.)
TERMS OF PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS
The deposit is €300-500 and it must be paid within 2 weeks from the day of booking. If the booking is cancelled after the deposit is paid, the deposit will be held as compensation for expenses. If the booking price is €2,500 or more, deposit is €500 and will be held as compensation for expenses if the booking is cancelled.
If the booking is made 6 weeks or less before the start of the reservation, the full price of the reservation must be paid within two days of the invoice date.
The invoice balance must be paid 10 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If the reservation is cancelled after the invoice balance is paid, the full rent excluding the bed linen and final cleaning service fees will be held as compensation for expenses.
The deposit will always be held as compensation for expenses when the booking is cancelled, also when the cancellation is caused by an illness. If the booking is cancelled 48 hours or less before the start of the holiday, the full price excluding the bed linen and final cleaning service fees will be held as compensation for expenses.
The travel agency must provide Lomarengas the name and telephone number of the guest as soon as possible. Lomarengas will provide the travel agency the driving instructions to the key collection point or to the cottage/apartment and the contact information of the cottage’s owner/caretaker. The agency is responsible for supplying this information to its customer.
A sales commission is not paid on all cottages/apartments. Lomarengas will notify of the availability of a commission when confirming the booking.
The standard booking/payment terms and conditions of Lomarengas will apply in other respects.
